Lynn Farleigh - High Comedy Performance



Lynn comes from Bristol, trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and her first job was in repertory at Salisbury.

She has worked many times for the National Theatre, RSC and English Shakespeare Company as well as in West End and regional theatres. Her roles there include: 'The Mysteries', 'The Crucible', 'Inadmissible Evidence' and 'Brand' (NT); 'The Winters Tale', 'Julius Ceaser' and 'The Homecoming' (RSC). Lynn also appeared on Broadway in 'The Homecoming'.

Most recent theatre work includes 'Salonika' (West Yorkshire Playhouse), 'Pravda' (Chichester Festival), 'Presence' (Drum, Plymouth), 'One Under' (Tricycle Theatre), 'Prince of Hamburg' (RSC and Lyric Hammersmith), and 'The Entertainer' (Nuffield, Southampton).

Her television work ranges from roles in 'Steptoe and Son' to 'Antony and Cleopatra', with recent parts in 'Midsomer Murders', 'Heartbeat', 'Peak Practice' and 'He Knew He Was Right'.

Film Includes: 'Miss Potter', 'Blind Fight', 'That Time of Year' and 'Fairytale, a True Story'.
